Save Child Initiative Benefit Gala
In 2013, LEAD Nigeria designed and created the “SAVE A CHILD INITIATIVE” project with the objective of promoting the survival, growth, protection, participation and development of kids and young people from Motherless memorial homes, orphanages and juvenile centers across Nigeria through primary education, vocational skills training and public enlightenment programs
This year in 2016, LEAD Nigeria through the Save a Child Initiative is launching the “Vocational skills and Micro-credit project for Internally Displaced persons from North-eastern, Nigeria”. This project will empower internally displaced persons from within north eastern Nigeria, affected by the Boko Haram insurgency currently residing at the home for the needy in Edo State, Nigeria with the opportunity to rebuild their lives, start new businesses, earn a living to help better themselves, their families and ultimately rebuild their local communities.
